Rick graduated from Wellcome Memorial High School in Garden City in 1979. He went on to Mankato Area Vocational Technical School and completed the program in Refrigeration, HVAC and Appliance Repair. Rick worked for Riverbend Appliance, Mankato Business Products and Mayo Health Systems in Mankato Minnesota. He married Cindy Kopischke in 1987, they shared 30 years together.

Rick had a great love for the outdoors and spent much of his spare time hunting and fishing with his brother and nephew, Mike and Luke Pautzke. We will miss his sense of humor and fun, his stories kept us all laughing.

Rick is survived by his wife, Cindy; mother and stepfather, Ardis and Dennis Griebel; brothers and sisters: Terry (Ann) Pautzke, Renee (Randy) Grupe, Kaye (Ray) Johnson and Mike (Dino) Pautzke; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and step siblings, Dave Griebel, Mark (Kathy) Griebel, Joan Surma and Denise (Brian) Veit and other relatives. Rick was preceded in death by his Father, Alfred (Jr.) Pautzke and other relatives.

A private memorial service was held in honor of Rick. Memorials are preferred to American Heart Association or Minnesota Pheasants Inc. P.O. Box 202 Good Thunder, MN 56037.
