Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, with interment in the Church Cemetery. Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, and will continue Thursday for one hour prior to the service.

Larry Ervin Rath was born Jan. 12, 1947, in Hutchinson, the son of Ervin and Shirley (Boehlke) Rath.

He is survived by his children: Keri Schuette of Dassel, Nathan Rath of Buffalo Lake, Matthew Rath of Buffalo Lake, and KamiJo Lenzen of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; his mother, Shirley Rath of Hutchinson and a brother, Curt Rath of St. Cloud.
