Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.

David was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles Borchert.

David Dale Borchert was born on March 21, 1938 in Biscay to Max and Alice (Schott) Borchert. David worked for Cook’s Sanitation, Red Stone Quarry, and MBW in New Ulm for ten years. He loved to fish, camp, travel, and help with farm work. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
