Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm and Pastor Jeffery Bovee will be officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Kenneth Ubel was born February 10, 1945 in New Ulm to Otto and Marie (Gag) Ubel. He attended Cathedral High School and went to work for AMPI in the Butter Plant and the regional offices from the age of 16 until his retirement. On June 4, 1974, Kenneth married Norreen Kitzrow at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing cards but above all else he loved spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Norreen; children, Renee Block of New Ulm; Brian (Nichole) Ubel of New Ulm and his grandchildren, Alissa Block, Joshua and Megan Ubel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Marie Ubel.

Arrangements are being made with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home of New Ulm.
