James “Jim” Reinhart

James “Jim” M. Reinhart, age 92-1/2 of Texas, formerly New Ulm died Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Cemetery in Lafayette.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and continue from 7:30-10:30 a..m on Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Jim is survived by his wife, Rosemary Reinhart of Marshall; daughters, Ruth Oftedahl of Pemberton, Mary Clasen of Sauk Rapids; sons, Greg Reinhart of Marshall, Roger Reinhart of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, George Reinhart of Algona, Iowa, Paul Reinhart of Cincinnati, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, one step-grandchild, 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Wendland of New Ulm; and brothers, Melvin “Bitsy” Reinhart of New Ulm and Edward “Eddie” Reinhart of Tucson, Arizona.

James Michael Reinhart was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Courtland Township, Nicollet County to Anton and Anna (Lamecker) Reinhart.
