Dianne Lueck

NEW ULM — Dianne Lueck, 71, of New Ulm passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm after a long struggle with heart disease. Memorial prayers will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm. Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lueck of New Ulm; daughter, Ronata Weigel of Thief River Falls; son, Jeffrey (Lisa) Schmidt of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughters, Ashley Klinger and her fiancé, Sal Hernandez, Megan (Josh) Sumrall; great granddaughters, Olivia and Joelle; sister, Shirley Russell of New Ulm; sister-in-law, Pearl Roiger of New Ulm; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Dennis Roiger.

Dianne Bernice Roiger was born on August 11, 1945 in New Ulm to Ambrose and Eleanora (Zupfer) Roiger. On September 6, 1980 she was united in marriage to Richard Lueck. Dianne worked for Riverbend Special Education for twenty years and retired from the New Ulm City Engineering Office on 2001. She enjoyed playing bingo, going out to dinner with her high school classmates every month, and playing games on her Ipad.

Dianne was a loving, caring woman who would do anything for those close to her.
