Visitation will be on Saturday 9 to 10:45 am at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.

Service will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 am.

The clergy will be Fr. Sam Wagner

Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.

Mary Elaine Sellner was born on January 3, 1935 in Moorhead, MN to Charles & Bertha (Lotzer) Reiff. She grew up in Kent, MN and graduated from high school in Breckenridge, MN. Mary married Leander Sellner on July 17, 1965 in Leavenworth, MN. The couple made their home in Sleepy Eye where Mary worked as an LPN at the New Ulm Medical Center. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Mary enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching figure skating and reading to children at Sleepy Eye Public School.

Mary is survived by her son, Steve (Lisa) Sellner of Lino Lakes, MN, daughter, Mona Pearson of Monticello, grandchildren, Allyson and Ryan and brother, Charles “Chuck” Reiff of Breckenridge, MN and sister-in-law, Alice Reiff. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leander in 2006, brothers, Thomas and Donald Reiff, sister, Lillian “Dickie” Haman, two infant sisters, brothers-in-law Leonard Haman and Roger Berseth and sisters-in-law, Barbara Reiff and Renee Reiff.
