WATERTOWN – Arlene Richter, 78, of Watertown, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Pastor Joel Sund officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Brownton.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Arlene is survived by two daughters; seven sons; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two siblings and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lea Ann “Annie” Richter; her loving husband, Kenneth Richter Sr.; and six siblings.
Arlene was born Feb. 3, 1935 in Toronto, S.D., to Harris and Eda (Singsaas) Haman. She enjoyed listening to country music, a good game of cards, bingo and was passionate about cooking, bird watching and driving fast cars.
Family and friends will serve as honorary casket bearers.
