New Ulm Police

• Arrested a 68-year-old New Ulm man on the 400 block of 400 N. Jefferson St. on a Brown County Probation and Apprehension and Detention Order for a probation violation. The man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center, then the Brown County Jail. Reports were sent to Brown County Human Services and Brown County Probation.

• Assisted the Renville County Sheriff’s Office by interviewing a domestic assault victim at the New Ulm Medical Center at 2:09 p.m. March 21. A 65-year-old Fairfax woman provided a statement that was forwarded to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.

• A school resource officer interviewed a 15-year-old male student at New Ulm High School at 2:29 p.m. March 21. The student admitted that, out of frustration, he made threatening comments about what he would do at school, comments that he later regretted. School sanctions including suspension were issued to the student. Reports were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office and Brown County Probation.
