Minnesota State Patrol

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 10:16 a.m. Feb. 2 at TH 15 and 18th Street N., Sauk Rapids, Benton County. Jesse R. Evers, 41, Sleepy Eye, was driving a 2014 Kenworth semi northbound when it collided at an intersection with a 2012 Dodge Journey, driven westbound on 18th St. N. by Mikiala M. Anderson, 23, St. Cloud. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Sauk Rapids Police, Fire, Mayo Ambulance and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a criminal damage to property report at 3:29 p.m. Feb. 1 at Vogel Fieldhouse, 122 Garden St. S. A 15-year-old New Ulm male walked up to a TV and hit it with a cellphone, causing it to break. The TV was valued at $447. Vogel staff agreed to allow the juvenile’s family to pay the amount owed to avoid criminal charges. A report was sent to Brown County Probation since the juvenile is on probation.

• Received a theft report at 2:13 p.m. Feb. 1 at 1016 3rd St. N. The landlord, a 39-year-old New Ulm man, evicted tenants, a New Ulm man 37; and New Ulm female, 44 and noticed damage done to the apartment plus personal items of is were missing from a garage crawl space and in the apartment. Police are waiting for an itemized list from the landlord.
