New Ulm Police

• Police took a report at 10:46 p.m. Friday of counterfeit $100 passed at the Lyric 3 movie theater. This is a theft of service charge as the theater is down the change given for the fake $100. New Ulm Police forwarded the fake bill to the Secret Service.

• A 20-year-old female from Mankato was stopped at 1:38 a.m. Saturday at 2015 S. Broadway for a vehicle violation. The vehicle was missing a front license plate. The woman was also charge for procession of a small amount of marijuana.

• Police responded to an assault at 9:16 a.m. on the North 600 Block of 6th Street. A 35-year-old male male assaulted his mother. The victim had minor injuries to her face. The assailant was taken into custody.
