New Ulm Police

• Responded to a reported shooting at 7:40 a.m., June 7 in the 1300 block, North Broadway. At the scene, it was determined that no shooting took place. The reporting individual, a 24-year-old New Ulm man was transported by ambulance to New Ulm Medical Center for mental health services. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

Brown County Sheriff

• Received an animal complaint at 9:226 a.m. June 7 from a resident on 185th Street, Stark Township who said a wandering dog kills a couple of their cats. Statutes were provided to the dog owner who lives on 280th Avenue. A report was done for documentation.

State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries at 5:52 p.m. June 6 on TH 19 at 411th Avenue, Arlington Township, Sibley County. A 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Nancy L. Spaeth, 59, Little Falls, was southbound on 411th Avenue when she collided with a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Kevin A. Neuman, 55, Winthrop who was westbound on TH 19. Both drivers and a passenger in the Chrysler, Angela D. Neuman, 53, Winthrop, were transported to Sibley Medical Center. Alcohol was not involved in the Chrysler but was involved in the Chevy. All three people wore seat belts. The Arlington Fire Dept., Gaylord and Arlington Ambulance and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

Redwood County Sheriff

• Seeks the public’s help with a hit and run crash reported at 4:40 p.m. June 6 on Main Street, near 8th in Walnut Grove. The driver’s door on a Toyota Highlander owned by Neng Vue was hit by a white or light colored vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 507-637-4036.

McLeod County Sheriff

• Responded to a suspicious activity report on 3rd Street, southwest of Plato at 10:10 p.m. June 6. Tammy Torgerson, 35, Arlington, was arrested for probable cause possession of paraphernalia, driving after cancellation and 5th-degree drug possession. She was transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.
