New Ulm Police

• Responded to what appeared to be a skateboarding crash at Oak and Garden St. at 4:53 p.m. May 16. A 19-year-old New Ulm male who suffered head trauma and injuries to his arms and legs was transported by Allina Ambulance to New Ulm Medical Center. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office

• Stopped an 18-year-old New Ulm male at Broadway and 6th for loud exhaust. He was also cited for driving with a revoked driver’s license, no insurance and failure to transfer title. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a call from the Nova House, 1310 German St. s. at 8:45 a.m. May 17. A 27-year-old Blue Earth man was arrested for fifth-degree controlled substance possession. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Stopped a vehicle for no trailer lights at 1901 S. Broadway at noon Monday. A 26-year-old Mankato man was cited for driving after license revocation. The vehicle owner, a 28-year-old Mankato man was cited for no vehicle insurance. Reports were sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• A resident at 1318 Payne St. S. reported a false unemployment claim at 1:30 p.m. May 17. the resident had the claim stopped before any money was sent. A report was made for documentation.

• Received a theft report from a 61-year-old Garrison woman who said a $1,000 check was written to her daughter’s boyfriend, a 39-year-old New Ulm man was altered to read $4,000. A report was sent to a police investigator.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a domestic call at 109 Dewey Ave. S., Comfrey at 7:20 p.m. May 15. The call remains under investigation. No more information was available.

• Responded to a driving complaint at TH 15/CR 20, Linden Township at 7:29 p.m. May 15. The complaint remains under investigation. No more information was available.

• Performed a welfare check at 120 2nd St., Cobden at 10:56 a.m. May 16. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services. No more information was available.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash near CR 12 and 361st Avenue, four miles east of Arlington at 2:38 p.m. May 13. A 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by Kathleen Knutson, 45, Pemberton, left the road after a curve. She was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries, later flown to a Hennepin County hospital. An infant in the vehicle was properly secured and did not have any apparent injuries. The crash is under investigation. Arlington Ambulance and the Henderson Fire Dept. assisted.
