Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a complaint of a vehicle driven in the oncoming traffic lane on TH 15 near Shag Road at 11:59 p.m. April 7. A driving evaluation form was filled out on a 72-year-old New Ulm woman and sent to the Minnesota Dept. of Motor Vehicles.

• Received a criminal damage to property report to a building on CR 20, Lake Hanska Township at 1:52 p.m. April 8. Nothing was described as missing in the building.

New Ulm Police

• After a brief fight in which nobody was reported hurt and no damage reported done, police escorted a 39-year-old New Ulm man from the Broadway Haus Apartments, 300 N. Broadway to New Ulm Medical Center at 3:31 p.m. April 7. The suspect had a court-ordered mental health evaluation.

• Received a report at 10:37 a.m. April 8 of a predatory offender, a 28-year-old New Ulm man, failing to report change of address. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a cross walk violation report of a white 2002 Pontiac Bonneville at Payne St. S. and 4th St. s. at 8:10 a.m. April 8.

• Received a report of a possible HRO violation on the 900 block of S. Broadway at 4:28 p.m. April 8. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a suspicious activity report at Pizza Ranch, 1927 S. Broadway at 1:16 p.m. April 9. A man in his 50s or 60s man wearing a Minnesota Vikings coat tried to use a credit card that came up stolen. The suspect fled in a gold Oldsmobile Alero. Police continue to investigate the report.
