Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a theft report at 12:41 p.m. March 28 at 10831 CR 2, Stately Township. Suspects entered a residence. No further information was available.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Police noticed a vehicle at Sportsman’s Park after hours at 3:41 a.m., March 28. An officer smelled alcohol in the vehicle. The driver, a 22-year-old Tennessee man failed an alcohol test and was arrested for 3rd-degree DWI and transported to the Brown County Jail. A 21-year-old female was transported to New Ulm by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. A report was sent to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a burglary report at 6:54 a.m. March 28 at the old mill, 112 Pine St. N.E. A window was broken and items were moved inside. It was not known if anything was stolen. A report was sent to the police investigator.

• Responded to a report at 12:41 p.m. March 28 that somebody dumped trash into a dumpster at the USDA building parking lot, 1221 Cedar St. N.E. A report was sent to the police investigator.

• Responded to a burglary report at 2:02 p.m. March 28 at Sunrise Manor, 500 Remmele St. S.W. A resident reported a televison and Play Station 4 were stolen between 12:30 and 2 p.m. A report was sent to the police investigator.

• Responded to a criminal damage to property report at the old mill, 112 Pine St. N.E. at 12:42 p.m. March 27. A window was reported broken and the building was entered. A report was sent to the police investigator.
