Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Found a combustible gas detector in the ditch on 217th Avenue, Milford Township at 11:42 a.m. March 22.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle at 1720 Westridge Road at 4:31 p.m. March 21. A 24-year-old Fairmont man was found to be driving after revocation and had no proof of insurance. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

• Stopped a vehicle at U.S. Highway 14 and Palmer Ave. at 1:25 p.m. March 22. A 23-year-old St. James man was cited for driving without a Minnesota driver’s license.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a single-vehicle crash without reported injuries on 441st Avenue, just south of 286th Street, about 3 miles southeast of Gaylord at 7 a.m. March 18. A 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by Derek Sejrup, 21, St. Peter, was northbound on 441st Avenue, left the road, hit a field approach, and came to a stop in the ditch. Sejrup wore a seat belt. Driver fatigue is believed to be a factor in the crash. Vehicle damage was moderate.

McLeod County Sheriff’s Office

• Assisted a motorist near TH 15 and 85th Circle, north of Brownton at 8:25 p.m. March 19. As a result, Lauren Zimkiewcs, 30, Litchfield, was arrested on an Anoka County warrant. Jeri Knopik, 40, Ham Lake, was arrested for giving a peace officer a false name and violation of a no contact order.

• Responded to Hutchinson Hospital at 1:59 pm. March 21 for an assault in Silver Lake. As a result, Jordan Ziermann, 23, Silver Lake, was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.
