Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Stopped a vehicle that ran a stop sign at 6:27 p.m. March 20 at CR 30 and CR 8, Eden Township. A passenger, a 20-year-old Wisconsin man was cited for minor consumption.
• Received a report of a party at 9:52 p.m. March 19 at CR 8, near 360th St., Eden Township. Suspects were gone when deputies arrived but it appeared to be an area where vehicles were “mudding.”
New Ulm Police
• Received a burglary report at 5:17 p.m. March 19 at Markplatz Mall, 101 German St. N. It appeared suspects got inside the mall. Police continue to investigate the incident. No more information was available.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Received a burglary report at 217 Elm St. N.E. at 11:54 a.m. March 21. A resident said they came home and found a door window broken and a number of items stolen including an Xbox valued at $150, five video games valued at $50 to $60 each and a stereo amplifier valued at 4200. A report will be sent to the police investigator.
• Received a report of one dog biting another at 514 1st Ave. N. at 1:58 p.m. March 20. A report will be sent to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office for consideration of a possible dangerous dog ordinance violation.
Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 11:45 p.m., March 20 on U.S. Highway 212, Sumter Township, McLeod County. A 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by Gregory J. Wagner, 54, Eden Prairie, was westbound on Highway 212, left the road and rolled several times. He wore a seat belt but was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was involved. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Glencoe Police, Brownton Fire Dept. and Allina Flight Ambulance assisted.
