New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash in the Christ The King church parking lot, 1515 N. Garden St., reported at 11:10 a.m. March 3. A white pickup truck driven by an unknown man said to be in his 70s, entered the parking lot and parked in front of and collided while parking with a 2000 GMC Jimmy occupied by Judith M. Ganske, 76, New Ulm. Damage was minor to the GMC front end and unknown to the pickup. Ganske complained of minor back pain.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at Crown Avenue and 160th at 10:41 a.m. March 3. A Chevy Impala driven by Helen Tate, Walnut Grove, was westbound on 160th when she collided with a Ford Fusion driven by Benjamin Johnson who was southbound. Tate was reported injured. The crash is under investigation by Walnut Grove Police and the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office.

• Responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on CSAH 1, south of 270th reported at 6:26 p.m. March 3. A 2001 Chevy Blazer driven by a 16-year-old was northbound on CSAH 1, lost control on a curve, crossed into the opposite lane, entered the west ditch, rolled and came to a rest on its roof. The driver exited the vehicle and flagged own a passerby to contact 911. The driver was transported to Carris Hospital, Redwood Falls. Morgan Ambulance and Clements First Responders assisted.
