New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with possible injuries at 7th North and Broadway at 8:59 a.m. March 1. A 2017 Chevrolet driven by Megan Swenson, 36, Wells, and a 2015 Toyota driven by Lyndsey Hogan-Hiller, 44, N. Mankato, were trying to turn right onto Broadway from 7th North when the Chevy hit the rear of the Toyota. A passenger in the Toyota had a possible injury. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was minor to the right front of the Chevy and minor to the left rear of the Toyota.

• Recognized a 29-year-old New Ulm man with a revoked driver’s license at Kwik Trip at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 28. Police identified the man on Kwik Trip surveillance video and mailed him a ticket.

• Received notification from Granite City Comics, St. Cloud that $35,000 worth of old comic books were bought at the store recently. The report is part of an ongoing investigation involving stolen comic books, baseball cards and other items in New Ulm in recent weeks.

• A 78-year-old New Ulm woman on Garden St. N. reported receiving a scam/fraud notification of filing for employment insurance in the Commonwealth of Kentucky at 12:52 p.m. March 1. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a criminal damage to property report from Brown County Human Services, 1117 Center at 1:30 p.m. March 1. It was reported six BBs were shot at two windows. A damage estimate was not available. A report was done for documentation.
