New Ulm Police

• Responded to an assault report at 304 Front St. S. at 8:27 p.m. Jan. 24. A 30-year-old New Ulm man said he was punched in the face. He was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for treatment for a broken nose. Police continue to investigate the incident.

Springfield Police

• Responded to a theft report at 10 Maple St. W. at 12:35 a.m. Jan. 25. A 46-year-old Springfield woman accused a 47-year-old Springfield man of taking $250 from her. Police continue to investigate the incident. A report will be sent to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 6:26 p.m., Jan. 24 on Redwood CSAH 25 and River Road, Redwood Falls. A 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by Brayden Okins, 17, Redwood Falls, was westbound on CSAH 25 when the right front tire was pulled into roadside snow while passing an approaching tractor-trailer. The truck entered the westbound ditch. Vehicle damage was undetermined. Nelson’s Towing removed the vehicle from the ditch.
