New Ulm Police
• Responded to a suspicious activity call at 418 10th St. N. at 2:26 p.m. Thursday. Police appeared to resolve a neighborly dispute involving a yard sign. A report was done for documentation.
• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old New Ulm woman at 1100 16th Street N. at 3:34 p.m. Thursday. She was cited for no front license plate, expired registration and no driver’s license. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review.
• Responded to a possible assault report at the Brown County Jail at 3:52 p.m. Thursday. Police said there was a verbal disagreement between three inmates, 31-year-old Sleepy Eye man, a 59-year-old homeless man and a 20-year-old New Ulm man. One of the men said they heard verbal threats made during a phone conversation. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review.
