Minnesota State Patrol
• Received a two-vehicle crash report with non-life threatening injuries on State Highway 68 and Terrace Avenue, Morgan Township, Redwood County at 6:52 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. A 2011 Subaru Forester driven by Amanda Ruth Marie Andrews, 29, New Ulm, was westbound on Highway 68 when it collided with a 2014 GMC Sierra driven by Jacob T. Gatzlaff, 27, Sleepy Eye, who was northbound on Terrace Avenue. Andrews was transported to a Redwood Falls hospital. Both drivers wore seat belts. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Sleepy Eye man at Main Street E. and 4th Ave. N.E. at 12:48 a.m. Saturday. The driver was also cited for no proof of insurance and expired registration. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received gas can theft report from the Essig ballpark at 10:47 a.m. Sunday. More details were not available.
• Received a vandalism report at the Searles ballpark and a church at 11:38 a.m. Sunday. More details were not available.
New Ulm Police
• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old New Ulm man at 3:31 p.m. Saturday at State Highway 15/CR 25, Cottonwood Township. The driver was cited for driving after revocation, no insurance and failure to transfer title. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s office.
• Stopped a vehicle for speeding driven by a 19-year-old New Ulm man at 1st St. N and Broadway at 12:08 a.m. Sunday. The driver was also cited for open alcohol container possession. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 9:41 a.m. Sunday at New Ulm Mobile Village, 2526 Bridge St. S. A 55-year-old New Ulm man was confused and transported to the New Ulm Medical Center
