New Ulm Police
• Received a report of a biting assault at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday. A 49-year-old woman reported from New Ulm Medical Center her 23-year-old son was assaulted Tuesday evening at the Hillside Apartments. The 23-year-old was allegedly bitten on the nose by a 26-year-old Mankato man, formerly from New Ulm. The victim was also bleeding from the right ear. The incident was referred to the City Attorney’s Office.
• Stopped a vehicle at Broadway and 20th Street North at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday. A 23-year-old Gibbon man was cited for speeding 42 in a 30 miles per hour zone and possession of drug paraphernalia in a motor vehicle.
• Received a vandalism report at Kwik Trip, 1521 S. Broadway, at 1:20 a.m. Thursday. A 38-year-old New Ulm man ripped a Trump flag off a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old New Ulm man. An argument ensued and the driver of the vehicle with the Trump flag punched the 38-year-old New Ulm man’s truck, causing about $500 damage. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
• Received a criminal damage to property report at 412 2nd St. S. at 1:34 p.m. Thursday. Residents said a semi traveling in an alley behind their residence damaged the gutters and roof. Damage was estimated at $2,000. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested a 22-year-old Sleepy Eye individual on an arrest warrant at County Road 27 and County Road 11, Milford Township, at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday.
