Sheriff’s Office

• Was notified of a single-vehicle, rollover crash on 320th Street near 451st Avenue, about 7 miles south of Gaylord at 6:20 p.m. June 23. Koby McGill, 18, Gaylord, was westbound in his 2000 GMC Jimmy when he fell asleep behind the wheel and rolled into a ditch. He was transported to a local hospital for injuries. Assisting agencies included Gaylord Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.

Lamberton Police

• Received a call Thursday to investigate a theft at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lamberton. It was determined that someone entered the church in the early morning hours and removed the tabernacle from the church altar plus several silver and copper serving glasses. The estimated value of the stolen goods was more than $8,000. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Lamberton Police at 507-276-0873 or the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office at 507-637-4036.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a 17-year-old New Ulm female who came into the Law Enforcement Center on June 20 and said she was physically assaulted by her ex-boyfriend after Snap-Chatting with other boys. She had minor injuries. Police contacted a 16-year-old New Ulm male about the incident reported at 10:38 p.m. June 23. Reports were sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office, Brown County Human Services and the Committee Against Domestic Abuse.
