New Ulm Police

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:55 p.m. Friday at Front and 7th North Street. Scott A. Waldner, 65, New Ulm, who had a previous right eye injury, making it difficult to see, was driving a 2019 GMC Sierra. He was southbound on Front Street and didn’t see a road closed sign, hitting two signs before parking on 7th South Street. Vehicle damage was moderate. Waldner was not injured.

• Stopped a vehicle at Hillside Manor Apartments, 1513 N. Payne St. A 53-year-old New Ulm man was cited for no insurance and driving after revocation. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a call about youth driving ATVs on the 800 block of Sunrise Drive at 6:33 p.m. Saturday. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a report of a broken windshield and window on a vehicle at 707 N. Minnesota St. at 8:37 p.m. Saturday.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a domestic call at 620 2nd Ave. S.W. at 9:21 p.m. Friday. A Sleepy Eye man was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Brown County Jail. A juvenile female was suffered a bloody nose. She refused medical treatment.

• Receive a fight call at 813 Walnut St. S.W. at 4:29 a.m. Sunday. A Sleepy Eye man later had a seizure and was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center. Another man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division. A door was kicked at the residence. Charges are pending.
