New Ulm Police
• Responded to an assault call at 1014 S. Front St. at 11:21 p.m. Thursday. A 30-year-old New Ulm man told police he was punched by a 24-year-old man, address unknown, who fled before police arrived. The victim did not seek medical attention. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
• Received a vandalism report at 500 N. German St. at 11:48 a.m. Friday. It appeared a BB gun was used to damage roll down windows at Johnson Field overnight. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
• Received a burglary report at 622 12th St. S. at 1:37 p.m. Friday. A metal storage shed had pry marks and evidence of an unsuccessful entry attempt overnight. Damage was estimated at less than $500.
• A tree service trailer parked on Summit Avenue near Jonathon Drive was struck by a 2017 Chevrolte Equinox driven by Darlene Ann Leick, 78, of 1313 Summit Ave. New Ulm, at about 12:21 p.m. Friday. There was moderate disabling damge to the Equinox and minro damage to the trailer.
