New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle at State St. and 2nd St. N. at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday. An Officer smelled marijuana and transported a 20-year-old New Ulm woman to New Ulm Medical Center due to statements she made. The woman was cited for drug paraphernalia possession.

• Received a domestic assault call at 620 1/2 Center St. at 2:56 a.m. Wednesday. A 37-year-old New Ulm woman said her ex-boyfriend, a 32-year-old New Ulm man, assaulted her and damaged her phone when she tried to call 911. The man was later found at his residence and arrested for disrupting a 911 call and criminal damage to property. The woman did not seek medical attention.

• Located a three-year-old girl who was alone at Center and Garden Street at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police returned the girl to her mother and step-father.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a report of the theft of $1,300 from a residence at 828 Maple St. S.w. at 3:31 a.m. Wednesday. Police have no suspects.

Springfield Police

• Received a verbal harassment call at 325 Cass Ave. N. at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday involving a Springfield man. A report was sent to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office.
