Sheriff’s Office

* Stopped a vehicle driven by a Sleepy Eye man for speeding at U.S. Highway 14 and CR 10 at 11:35 p.m. Saturday. A report for speeding and driving with a cancelled license Inimical to Public Safety was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

* Was called to the intersection of CR 29 and CR 7 at 11:24 a.m. Sunday after a vehicle hit a power line. The Brown County REA was contacted for a cracked and leaning power line. The vehicle was towed.

New Ulm Police

* Stopped at vehicle at Boundary Street and Lake Avenue at 6;40 p.m. Saturday. A 34-year-old New Ulm woman was cited for no Minnesota Driver’s License, no front license plate and illegal window tint. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a suspicious activity report at the grafitti wall, 6th North and Front at 8:57 p.m. Friday. A stuck vehicle damaged grass on city property. Insurance information was exchanged with the driver.

• Stopped a vehicle at 4th South and Jefferson at 11:49 p.m. Friday. A 27-year-old New Ulm man was cited for gross misdemeanor no insurance and misdemeanor driving after revocation, failure to transfer title and possession of drug paraphernalia. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received an Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) violation call at 413 S. Broadway at 8:39 a.m. Friday involving a 47-year-old Sleepy Eye man. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a domestic assault call at 801 S. Broadway at 12:12 p.m. Friday. A 22-year-old New Ulm man was transported to the Brown County Jail. A victim had minor injuries. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a domestic assault call at 506 1/2 Center St. at 1:34 p.m. Friday involving a 22-year-old New Ulm man and a 26-year-old New Ulm woman. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a possible false police report call from the City Office at 3:53 p.m. Thursday. A report was sent to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.
