New Ulm Police

• Responded to a disturbance call at 1121 S. Washington at 1:25 p.m. Friday. A 29-year-old New Ulm man believed to be having mental health issues was transported to New Ulm Medical Center by police. At the medical center, he caused minor leg injuries to an officer. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of 4th-degree assault, criminal damage to property, obstruction with force and disorderly conduct charges.

• Responded to a criminal damage to property report at 4:39 a.m. Saturday at 1426 Oak St. A 19-year-old New Ulm man admitted he was intoxicated, hit a mailbox with a vehicle, causing air bags to deploy. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of consumption under age 21, drinking and driving, criminal damage to property and leaving the scene of an accident.
