Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 7:46 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash. The crash occurred at the intersection of Renville County Road 1 and Renville County Road 4 approximately 8 miles south of Danube, Minnesota.

A 2009 Toyota Corolla, driven by 35 year old Taylor Schmidt of Dell Rapids, South Dakota was traveling east on County Road 4. The driver stopped for the stop sign and entered the intersection. The vehicle collided witha 2014 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 63-year-old Allen Larson of Redwood Falls, that was traveling northbound on Renville County Road 1. Schmidt and Larson were wearing seatbelts and were uninjuried.
