New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 4:04 p.m. Monday at 23rd North and Boundary Street. A 1997 GMC Suburban driven by James A. Craig, 63, New Ulm, was eastbound on Boundary Street when he drifted to the other lane. A 2003 Chevy Venture driven by Duane M. Postel, 44, New Ulm, tried to get out of the way but was hit by the GMC. Damage was minor to both vehicles. both drivers wore seat belts.

• Responded to an accident at 5:03 p.m. at 12th South and Broadway in which a Mankato woman suffered head lacerations and a broken wrist. Taaun Jacobarthur Nelson, 18, of Fargo, N.D., was driving east on 12th South in a 2002 Lincoln LS. Sara Jean Schugle, 32, of Mankato, was southbound on Broadway in a 2016 GMC Terrain. According to the police report, Nelson failed to yield in the intersection to Schugel, and Schugel struck Nelson’s car on the driver’s side. Both vehicles were a total loss.
