Sibley County Sheriff

A man was injured after being pinned between two vehicles Monday, Oct. 28, at LandsKaping on Highway 15 north of Hutchinson, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office said. Derek Markgraf, 31, of Hutchinson, became pinned at approximately 2:10 p.m. between a bulldozer and a F-150 Ford pickup while fueling the bulldozer. Life Link flew the victim to the St. Cloud Hospital. Also responding to the scene were the Hutchinson Fire, Hutchinson Police, State Patrol and Allina Ambulance.

New Ulm Police

• Received a phone call about a suspicious man from a staffer at River Bend Area Learning Center, 1315 S. Broadway at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday. Police took a 52-year-old Gibbon man to the Brown County Probation Office to talk to a probation officer. The man was arrested for a probation violation.

• Received a driving complaint at the former Running’s store property, 1615 State St. N. at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday. A resident said semi trucks were driving on roads not designated for trucks. A report will be sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Responded to Sleepy Eye Public School for juvenile trouble at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday. A report will be sent to Brown County Human Services. Nobody was hurt, nobody was arrested.

McLeod County

Sheriff

• Responded to a garbage dump on Prior Street in Stewart at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday. An investigation will continue.
