State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on U.S. Highway 169, Le Sueur, Le Sueur County at 5:04 p.m. Oct. 20. A 2015 Freightliner semi driven by Marcos A. Torres Fernandez, 46, Homestead, Fla. turned onto Highway 169 from a rest area and collided with a 2001 Olds Silhouette driven by Jenna L. Westin, 20, Belle Plaine, in the right southbound lane. Westin was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Care System, Le Sueur. Fernandez was not injured. Alcohol was not involved. Le Sueur Police and Fire Departments, the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office and Ridgeview Ambulance assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a call about a runaway at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday. A 17-year-old male was found without injury in a school bus at New Ulm Bus Lines, 1400 Minnesota St. S. at about 11 p.m. The boy was returned to his guardian.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a theft report at Freedom Valu Center, 400 Main St. W. at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday. A girl reported her hover board was stolen while she was inside the Freedom store. A an estimate of the value and description of the hover board was not available.
