New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Broadway Street South and 10th South Street at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. A 1998 Audi A4 driven by Niel Klosser, 26, New Ulm, was southbound on Broadway, near the intersection of 10th Street South and stopped at a stoplight. The light turned green and Klossner anticipated traffic to move. Klossner rear-ended a 2015 Ford Escape driven by Ronald Forst, 55, Gibbon. The Audi received severe damage to its front end and the Ford received moderate damage to its rear. There were no injuries.

• Submitted a report at 10:43 p.m. Saturday for downtown bars alledgely failing to abide by alcohol laws during the Crazy Days street dance. People were walking around with open alcoholic beverages. Individuals were advised to return to within four feet of bar establishments when holding an open alcoholic beverage. No citations were issued.

Brown County Sheriff

• Responded to a property damage and vandalism report at County Road 25 and 140th Avenue and 11765 State Highway 68 at 2:55 p.m. and 3:04 p.m. A 2012 Ford F-150 driven by a 21-year-old New Ulm man was allegedly running over mail boxes consecutively near Cottonwood Township. An investigation is ongoing.
