New Ulm Police
• Received a report of alleged criminal damage to a business’s doorknob at 412 2nd St. N. at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday. The doorknob had a dent on it leading to suspicion of an attempt to break in.

Sheriff
• Responded to an assault on Central Avenue east of Lester Prairie at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday. A 53-year-old male was arrested for probable cause domestic assault and transported to McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. Lester Prairie Police also responded to the incident.
• Assisted Glencoe Police with an assault on 14th St. E. in Glencoe at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday.
