New Ulm Police

• A two-vehicle accident occurred 11:55 a.m. Sunday at North Washington and 10th North Street. A 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by Walter Hinrich Ahrens, 90, of Wintrhop was backing up into a parking spot. A 2005 Buick Enclave driven by Jennifer Marie Schweiss, 48 of New Ulm had stopped behind the Caravan when the van started to back up. The Buick was unable to get out of the way and the vehicles collided. Minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries.

• An injury accident occurred at 12:07 p.m. Sunday at 14th North and State Street. Dorine Wellman, 43, of New Ulm was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer east on 14th South Street. A 2008 Saturn Outlook driven by Brandon Greeley, 32, of Le Center was traveling north on State Street. The two vehicles entered the intersection and crashed. The Explorer received severe passenger side damage and the Outlook severe front end damage. Police reported indicated possible injuries to Wellmann.
