New Ulm Police
• Responded to a civil dispute between a male and female cousin at 1507 U.S. Highway 14 West, New Ulm at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday. A 32-year-old New Ulm man was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for behavioral issues after he reportedly broke a glass table and window at the apartment. He was later released from the medical center. Police were recalled to the residence at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday. The man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center for allegedly interfering with a 911 call. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
• Responded to a call about an intoxicated person at 1446 Heinenhill Street at 5:52 p.m Wednesday. A 60-year-old New Ulm man was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center detox division.
• Responded to a scam/fraud report from a resident at 1922 German St. N. at 12:38 p.m. Thursday. A man reported losing $100 to a woman he met online who said she lived in the Twin Cities and needed money. Police continue to investigate.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Franklin Street South and 12th Street North at 3:03 p.m. Thursday. A 2007 Toyota driven by Lauren Humbard, 18, New Ulm, was southbound on Franklin, stopped at a stop sign, proceeded and collided with a 1949 Ford driven by David Wolff, 76, New Ulm, who was eastbound on 12th South. Both vehicles were inoperable. Both drivers wore seat belts.
