A 15-year-old boy sustained light road rash injuries to his right arm, right leg and lower back in an accident at 4:45 p.m. Thursday on South Minnesota Street near 10th, 11th or 12th South Street.
The boy and a friend were walking south on South Minnesota Street. He is unsure of the cross street, but said it could have been at 10th, 11th or 12th South. A vehicle reportedly driving east struck the boy as he was crossing at the intersection. The driver of the vehicle did not stop. The vehicle is reported to be smaller and black.
