New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Highway 14 and Highland Avenue at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday. A 2018 pickup driven by Alexander Denhof, 23, Mankato, was eastbound on the inside lane of traffic on Highway 14 when he collided with a 2013 car driven by Dorris Schweiss, 84, Gibbon, who was southbound on Highland, and tried to turn left. A witness said just before the crash, a black pickup in the left hand turn lane, (eastbound), tried to turn onto Highland. The driver’s side of the pickup was damaged. There was moderate, disabling damage to the front end of the car.

• Responded to an harassment complaint at 1426 Birchwood Dr. at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A neighbor complained that lawn chemicals went into his yard. A disorderly conduct-threats complaint involving a 68-year-old New Ulm man was forwarded to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

McLeod County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday to a report of threats on Martha Street in Stewart. An investigation will continue.
