New Ulm Police

• Received a suspicious activity call from a woman on the 100 block of State Street North at 9:41 a.m. Friday. The caller said a man with a gun was running down the street shouting threats and obscenities. Police did not find a gun on the suspect, a 31-year-old New Ulm man, but did arrest him for a probation violation.

• Received a vandalism report regarding a slashed tire overnight at 514 Franklin St. N. at 7:28 a.m. Saturday. The estimated loss was $200.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a theft report at 212 2nd Ave. S.W. at 7:36 p.m. Thursday. The caller said two packages were left by a delivery service at the wrong address and were not retrieved when the delivery service attempted to get them back.

• Took a report of a 16-year-old male runaway at 9:14 p.m. Friday.
