New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at Highway 14 and Jacobs Street at 8:19 p.m. March 29. A 2015 Ford Edge driven by Kimberley R. Kodet, 41, Redwood Falls, was westbound, stopped in the turn lane on Highway 14 at a red light at Jacobs Street. A 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Timothy S. Thomas, 53, New Ulm, rear-ended the Ford and left the scene. The Pontiac was located later that evening and the driver was identified. Damage was minor to both vehicles.

• Received a theft report at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 1720 Westridge Road at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday. The suspect is a 31-year-old Fairfax man. Value or description of the stolen items was not available.

• Received a vandalism report at Riverview Townhomes, 2412 N. Broadway at 5:13 p.m. Wednesday. A parent called police about a juvenile male who spray painted playground equipment. A report will be reviewed by the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 5:05 p.m., April 1 involving a 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Arianna Sheets, 16, Henderson, near the intersection of 361st Ave. and 351st Ave., Jessenland township, five miles northwest of Henderson. The driver was northbound on 361st Ave., trying to negotiate a right curve, lost control, went into a ditch and flipped onto the driver’s side. Vehicle damage was moderate.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on TH 19, near 290th Street, a mile west of Henderson at 6:02 p.m. March 29. Matthew Hughes, 20, Le Sueur, was westbound on TH 19 in a 2010 Toyota Camry, tried to turn onto 290th Street, when he was rear-ended by a 2017 Ford Escape driven by Raymond Otto, 92, Gaylord, who was westbound on TH 19. Otto, Hughes and his passenger all wore seat belts. Henderson Police and Fire, Arlington Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted.
