New Ulm Police

• A personal injury accident occurred 5:53 a.m. Saturday at 20th N. and Washington St. A 2005 pickup, driven by Pamela Schroeder, 23, of New Ulm was stoped at the stop sign at 20th North facing south. Schroeder began driving forward towards Washington Street. At first she did not see the 2004 SUV driven by Tess Harper, 26, of New Ulm traveling east. When she did see Harper’s vehicle approaching Schroeder applied the brakes and began sliding on the snow covered roadway. Harper also reported applying the brakes, but the tires slid on the roadway resulting in a crash.

Both vehicles received moderate damage. Harper sustained a possible, minor injury to her head. She was examined by ambulance staff but was not transported to the hospital.

• A two vehicle accident occured 7:16 p.m. Saturday at the 600 block of 16th North St. A 1997 GMC driven by Gary Suess, 64, of New Ulm was westbound on 16th North and was attempting to make a left turn into the Liquor Mart parking lot. A 2008 Ford, driven byHunter Landsteiner, 19 of New Ulm was traveling west on 16th North and struck the rear front of the GMC. Both vehicles received minor damage. No injuires were reported.

• Two vehicles collided 7:35 p.m. Saturday at 12th S. Street and Hauenstein Drive. A 1998 Chevy Pickup, driven by Peter Charles Macho, 57, of New Ulm was westbound on 12th N. Street and pulled out to cross Hauenstein Drive. A 2003 Chevy Trailblazers, driven by Heidi Marie Schwab, 32, of New Ulm was northbound on Hauenstein Drive and was unable to avoid the pickup. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.
