New Ulm Police
• Police responded to an accident on Saturday at about 1:20 p.m. at 17th South and Broadway.
April Mae Lewis, 43, of New Ulm, driving a 2003 Gyundai Elantra, was southbound on Broadway near 17th South. She stopped for traffic that was turning into a business, and was struck from behind by a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Erica Caroline Koehler, 23, of Madelia. There was minor damage to the Elantra, moderate damage to the Equinox. No one was injured.
