New Ulm Police

• Responded to an abandoned/stalled vehicle call at Front Street and 3rd Street South at 7:07 a.m. Thursday. A report for no insurance, wrong license plates, a driver without Ignition Interlock that was required will be sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration. The vehicle was towed to the city impound lot.

• Received a report about a two-vehicle crash without injuries on snow-packed roads at 11th North and Washington Street at 8:44 a.m. Thursday. A 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Scott N. Ries, 59, New Ulm, was southbound on Washington, approaching 11th North when he collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Kaitlyn R. Schreyer, 24, New Ulm. Damage was severe to multiple areas of the Taurus and moderate to the front of the Fusion. Both drivers wore seat belts.
