New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 20th South Street and Broadway at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday. A 2016 Dodge Ram driven by Jack Anderson, 27, Winthrop, and a 2002 Chevy Impala driven by Troy Havemeier, 50, Courtland, were turning north onto Broadway from 20th South when Havemeier said he thought Anderson entered Broadway, looked back at oncoming traffic, accelerated and hit Anderson’s vehicle. Damage was minor to both vehicles.

• Received a domestic call at 811 N. Broadway at 7:27 p.m. Wednesday. A New Ulm man was arrested on pending narcotics possession charges.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Police are asking for help from citizens regarding an burglary at Schweiss Meats said to have happened at about 11:35 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17. About $300 was reported stolen. A suspect wearing a light-colored, hooded sweatshirt appears in photos provided by police. Photos of the suspect in the business can be found on New Ulm Police Department Facebook posts. Anyone with information can call Sleepy Eye Police at 507-794-3711. Police thank the public for any and all assistance and ask that viewers refrain from posting Facebook comments about the theft.
