New Ulm Police

• Received a two vehicle crash report without injuries on icy roads at Center and Summit at 8 p.m. Thursday. A 2008 Toyota Camry driven by Brian K. Hennig, 51, New Ulm, was eastbound on Center Street, west of Summit Avenue when he began to slide, turned to the right, into the curb to stop sliding. A 2015 VW Jetta driven by Leasa M. Sieve, 58, Hanska, was approaching in the same direction on Center, began to slide and struck the Toyota. Damage was minor to both vehicles.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report on ice and snow-packed roads at 329 Monument St. between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:40 p.m. Sunday. A legally-parked vehicle owned by Caitlin Bleess was apparently hit by a vehicle that came off Cherry Street. Damage was light.

• Received a two-vehicle crash without report injuries at 3rd North and Washington St. at 2:48 p.m. Sunday. A 2016 Nissan van driven by Jason L. Soderberg, 37, New Ulm, was southbound on Washington St., approaching 3rd North when it collided with a 2012 Ford Focus driven by Megan S. Paradis, 26, Marshall, who was eastbound on 3rd N. approaching Washington St. The drivers did not see each other until it was too late to avoid crashing.

• Responded to a domestic dispute at 415 6th St. N. at 12:18 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated, nobody was hurt, no damage was done and nobody was arrested. A domestic assault report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney Office for charge consideration.

• Received a two-vehicle crash without injuries crash at Broadway and 20th North Street at 1:46 p.m. Monday. A 2015 Mack semi and trailer driven by Amy E. Carden, 36, Minneapolis, was northbound on Broadway when it was hit by a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by Kevin C. Hiniker, 46, Winnebago who was eastbound on 20th North when he disobeyed a stop sign and entered the intersection. Damage was severe to the left front of the semi and front top of the trailer. Damage was moderate to the pickup. Both drivers wore seat belts.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Were dispatched to Countryside Retirement Community, 1100 1st Ave. S. for a fire alarm sounding at 10:42 p.m. Sunday. A broken water line was found. A sprinkling company will assess the situation that included water cleanup.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a vehicle-deer crash on Highway 14 and Impala Avenue, Lamberton Township at 6:37 p.m. Monday. A 2011 Ford pickup driven by Jeffrey Meyer, 53, Tracy, was westbound on Highway 14 when a deer ran onto the road. Damage was severe to the Ford.
