New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report at Front St. and 7th St. N. at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday. Between $400 and $500 worth of construction equipment was reported stolen over the weekend. The theft remains under investigation.

Sibley County

Sheriff’s Office

• Received a theft report from a building site about three miles south of Winthrop from Tyler J. Stehr Monday. Stolen items include numerous Milwaukee cordless tools, batteries, bit sets and other items. Estimated value of the stolen items was $1,900. • Received a theft report from Lindsey B. Johnson of Gibbon Monday. Johnson said a catalytic converter was cut off and stolen from a 194 Plymouth mini van that was parked on a field approach about a mile south of Gibbon on Aug. 17.
