New Ulm Police

• New Ulm Police resonded to an accident at 20th South and Broadway on Monday at about 5:19 p.m.

Kennedi Cay Kokesch, 21 of Apple Valley was southbound on Broadway and in the turn lane to turn eastbound at 20th south when her 2007 Honda Accord was hit from behind by a 1997 Ford Econoline E250 driven by John Paul Swart, 37, of Wells. According to police, Swart’s vehicle hydroplaned on the wet pavement when he hit Kokesch’s car. No injuries were reported.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:38 p.m. at Center Street and Garden in New Ulm on Monday. Police say Lois Mae Haroldson, 81, of Red Wing was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry westbound on Center Street and Howard Leo Kastner, 54, of 36 Lincoln Lane, New Ulm was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan on Center Street. The cars collided when Kastner attempted to turn north onto Garden Street.
