• Reported a two-vehicle injury crash on U.S. Highway 212 at 8th Street West in Hector, Renville County at 12:45 p.m., July 22. A 2000 Ford Crown Victoria driven by a 77-year-old Vadnais Heights man was westbound on Highway 212, as was a 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by a 32-year-old Renville woman when she observed the Ford slow. She thought it was turning, then realized it was not, swerved to the right to avoid a collision and rear-ended the Ford. Driver’s names were to be released late Sunday night. Hector Police, Fire and Ambulance assisted.
