Sleepy Eye Police
• Received an assault report at Freedom Valu Center, 400 Main St. W. at 4:13 p.m. May 25. A Lucan man reported a pair of $65 sunglasses were broken by an Evan man. A report will be forwarded to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
• Received a crash report with non-life-threatening injuries at 5th Ave. S.W. and Walnut St. S.W. at 4:50 p.m. May 25. A 2010 Chrysler Town & Country van driven by JoAnn Lux., 71, Sleepy Eye collided with a 2007 Mercury Milan driven by a 16-year-old. Both drivers were transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center.
• Received a theft report of two vehicle license plates from Chuck Spaeth Ford, 900 State Highway 4, Sleepy Eye at 10:27 a.m. May 26.
Springfield Police
• Received a criminal damage to property report at 113 Washington Ave. N. at 5:37 p.m. May 25. Police found a Mediacom cable cut from a cable box. A report will be forwarded to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office and to Mediacom for charge consideration.
